AGGRAVATING ITCH ON ARCH OF RT RIGHT
HI,The last few nites I have been awakened by an intense itch in the arch of my right foot.
This has happened once in the past.
I have noticed the itching somewhat through the day today but it seems much worse at night when it wakes me up.
What could this be?
I don’t think it is an external cause, fabrics, soaps, laundry detergent because none of that have been changed recently.
Because of constant sore throats I had a series of blood work done three months ago and my hemoglobin A1C was normal.
Could it possibly be a symptom of diabetes??? I am overweight and on an antidepressant and an antihistamine.
I don’t know if that matters in dealing with this but I have been on these two medicines for quite a while and do not believe I am allergic to them as I have no other symptoms.

You sound like this is making progress. I recommend you be a bit more patient with this injury. It will take longer than you think. I can’t be more specific since I can not see the extent of your injury, nor have I examined your foot.

Thanks, you are right, I am impatient. I am just used to heavy exercise and activity so this has been hard. All info I can find points to at least 6-8 weeks and maybe more so I am trying to resign to that fact. Thank you for the response, I appreciate it.
