Ankle and Heel pain

(4 discussions)

I have been a waitress for three years.
In the beginning, I noticed my feet would hurt terribly after a shift, but they always returned to normal after I gave them a break.
Now, however, I have realized that my feet will hurt for days after a shift…sometimes so badly that I find it is hard to even walk on them.
I do not work long shifts anymore, usually 3 to 4 hours, and my foot pain seems to be worse than ever.
I’m not sure what to do.
If it was both feet that would be one thing, but it seems to be mainly my left foot.
Any ideas?

I have alot of foot pain in my left foot also. I have 5 children so I am very active. I talked to my foot doctor and he said I have a very tight tendon. You need to look up excersises online for this problem. If you do them regularly, your foot should get better.

I am a police officier in the military and I constantly stand and walk every where! My pain started in my ankles they were swollen for two and now it has been about 2 months and I still have pain in the ankle but now it include my heels. I also get the burnign censations, but it not imflammation, I was tested for it nothing found! Both ankles and heels begin to hurt if I stand for longer than 15 mins!
