Ankle support for bare feet or rock climbing?
I’ve been looking at what is available and much of what is out there looks like it relies on the shoe to help with support. What is very effective at preventing the ankle/foot from rolling in/out?
I had surgery on my medial malleolus several months ago. Some of the sports I engage in are either done barefoot or in a climbing shoe which doesn’t allow room for much. Options for both yoga and rock climbing appreciated. Yesterday I strined a muscle that runs parallel to my achillis on the medial side, right next to the achillis, and possibly partially under it. It is in the very back and probably functions as a stabilizing muscle. It has remained atrophied since breaking the bone, and is still discolored.
