back pain after pregnancy

(2 discussions)

I have a 16 month old and since giving birth to her I have had significant lower back pain.
I have been to a doctor and he explained that when you give birth your pelvis stretches out and that mine did not go back in properly thus causing all the pain.
He said that I could go to physical therapy and they would be able to manipulate the area so that the joint would go back into place.
Is this possible?
If so, how?

I have a 11 month old little girl who weighed in at 10lbs and 1oz at birth who I delivered natural. Yea I can’t believe it either. Well I been having severe backpain ever since. I had a MRI done and all they could tell me that I strip a muscle and then gave me a bunch of painkillers. This pain has forbid me to work,My walkng gets limited at times. The pain is in my lower back and then shoots down the back of my legs and in my knees. at times my pelvic bone pops. Can you please give me some suggestions on what I can do because the pain is getting worse.
