The Iliopsoas muscles (Iliacus + psoas muscles) are the main flexors of the femur. Thefore, it is very easy to train them. Anything that involves raising your legs will contract your psoas muscles.
Try to start doing leg raises. Do 3 sets of 14-18 repetitions. Do this for 2/3 times per week.

Do not know about an inflammation but I think the conclusion is that my psoas muscles are weak and need strengthening
