Ball of foot pain
I’ve been bothered with pain in the ball of my foot for about a year now. I can feel it walking and worse when running especially long distances. If I land on a small rock with the ball of the foot it gives a sharp shooting pain. I can’t find a painful area if I prod the the foot. I am now starting to feel the same symtoms on my other foot, it’s becoming a bit of a pain! excuse the pun. Anyone got any ideas?

I have pain and swelling in the ball of my foot. They said it MAY be the beginning stages of arthritis. You may want to get it checked(with x-rays or blood tests). Orthotic shoe inserts have helped with the day-to-day walking/sport pain.
