bicep injury

I have a throbbing pain in the center portion of my bicep and seems to extend up to my shoulder. The pain becomes more intense whenever I flex or do anything that concentrates on the bicep. It started a couple weeks ago, but really got bad after a workout a few days ago. My forearm aches as well whenever I do any type of curl. It occurs on the outside of the forearm near the elbow. I usually just take a few days off and the pain subsides for the most part but its been a few days and its still throbbing. I don’t want to injure myself any further than I may have already.

My husband just had bicep tendon repair surgury yesterday. Sounds like you may have a similar situation. Get it checked out. Every day that passes is more time for scar tissue to form and cause more problems.

I have the same problem. It started a few years ago when I was playing rubgy. Every time I would get home after practice my bicep would throb for hours. I recently started playing again and the pain seems to still be there. I’m going to head to physio to check it out asap.
