i went to my dr. like a week ago cause ihave scoliosis, he made me go get an mri, but I have no idea what it reads. and im very worried.. the impression they gave me was” levoscoliosis with moderate to marked disc desiccation, broad-based posterior disc bulge with spondylosis right central to paracentral/posterolateral approximately 3-4 mm disc protrusion /subligamentous estrusion associated with spondylotic changes, mild spinal stenosis, moderated right neural foraminal narrowing and mild to moderate left neural foraminal narrowing at l5 -s1. additional findings at each level … Please help me and email me back

I’VE HAD TWO DIFFERENT MRI REPORTS. THE FIRST ONE, WHEN EXPLAINED TO ME, STATED THAT I HAD TWO DISCS PUSHING INTO MY SPINAL CORD. I CAN’T QUITE UNDERSTAND THE SECOND REPORT. COULD ANYONE PLEASE TRY TO HELP ME OUT. FINDINGS: THERE IS ADEQUATE ALINGMENT OF THE VERTEBRAL BODIES. ON THE LATERAL VIEW, INTERVERTEBRAL DISC SPACE HEIGHT IS PRESERVED. THE CONUS MEDULLARIS IS LOCATED AT T12-L1. THERE IS NO ABNORMALITY OF THE CAUDA EQUINA AND NO ABNORMALITY OF THE BONE MARROW SIGNAL. FROM L2-L3 TO L5-S1, THERE IS NO DISC PROTRUSION,CENTRAL CANAL STENOSIS OR LATERAL STENOSIS. IMPRESSIONS: FROM L2-L3 TO L5-S1, NO DISC HERNIATION, CENTRAL CANALSTENOSIS OR LATERLAL STENOSIS.

I went to the doctor 8/27 and was told by my doctor that the findingss were:Normal posterior alignment of the lumbar vertbra is demonstrated with minimal levoconvex scoliotic deformity of the lumbar spine. Intervertebral disc space is relatively preserved. There is no osteolytic or blastic lesion./IMPRESSION:Levoconvex scoliotic deformity. No fracture or dislocation seen, and my question’s are: What is it exactly? What is it caused by? can? will it get any worse? What should I do to help relieve my pain every morning when I wake up? Would u recommend a Temperpedic bed? Would it help?Is this the reason why I’m so short and do not gain any weight?

Can you please tell me what this means: My MRI state: FINDINGS: LUMBAR SPINE1. All inter vertebral disc spaces are normal showing bright signals on T2W sequences2. Atthe level L5S1 there is evidence of postercentral disc herniation causing inedntation of spinal theca. Neural foramens and exiting nerve roots are normal.3. At the lkevel of L4-5 there is evidence of disc bulge causing indentation of spinal theca. Neural foramens and exiting nerve roots are normal.4. rest of inter vertebral disc spaces are normal in morphological appearance and signal intensity.

Can you tell me what this means? I have the same diagnosis after an x-ray of my lumbar spine and a diagnosis of dextroconvex scoliosis of my thoracic spine. I would appreciate any info on these 2 subjects

Hi i’m 18 years old & I have tons of problems but there are some things I can’t seem to understand. FINDINGS: THE PATIENT HAS 4 NON-RIB BEARING LUMBAR VERTEBRE PRESENT. SHE HAS A TRANSITIONAL VERTEBRA WITH SACRALIZATION OF L5. THERE IS PERHAPS SLIGHT ACCENTUATIONOF THE LUMBAR LORDOSIS. THE DISCS SPACES ARE MAINTAINED.AS KNOWN, THE PATIENT HAS LEVOSCOLIOSIS WITH THE APEX SEEN AT THE T12 LEVEL. In other says: THE PATIENT HAS A NORMAL MILD CERVICAL LORDOSIS.And in other says: THE PATIENT HAS A MODERATE LEVOSCOLIOSIS OF THE THORACTIC SPINE WITH THE APEX SEEN AT THE T12 LEVEL. I have been doing research because I have tons of conditions in by body including an unwanted movement of my right knee. IT MOVES BY ITSELF WHEN I HAVE MY LEG STRAITENED. I get week most of the time due to muscular spasm but it seems it doesn’t go away because i’ve had these symptoms since I was 12 years old. Nobody in Puerto Rico seems to find what is wrong with me & all of this things have limited my normal activities like playing volleyball & dancing & even wrtitting. Something I have noticed is that EVERYTHING, ALL THE ANORMALITIES HAPPEN ONLY IN THE RIGHT SIDE OF MY BODY. Please I don’t know what to do. It’s driving me crazy because the pain is far beyond any imaginable pain. I NEED HELP. PLEASE HELP UNDERSTAND ALL OF THIS. HELP ME FIND A DIAGNOSTIC.

Can someone explain to me what my MRI means, I have had horrible pain for 2 years now and an episode that wont end (its been 1 month and a half with constant pain)Findings It hurts a lot when I got from the sitting position to standing, when I sit on the spot of concern it feels like I’m sitting on a knife. I’ve been doing ultrasound therapy for over a year, and EMS. My tail bone area constantly feels as if I was hit with a baseball bat, and whenever I try to exercise, the next day I feel 2 times as bad as I did the day before. I hate to use narcotic prescriptions but if I didn’t have any around for emergencies, I would be in level 10 of pain. I don’t want surgery and I did a cortisone injection which helped for a week, and the pain came back as soon as I decided to go for a 15 minute walk. I have been an active person all my life, and now being 23 I feel disabled by the pain and I want my life to get back to normal. I don’t have insurance. If anyone can help please contact me.Paula

I had a follow up MRI and had the finding sent to my home, since it usually takes monthes for me to find out anything about the test. The Findings are: There is normal sagittal alignment and curvature. No compression fracture. Conus terminats at T12-L1 There is mild degeneratibe sisc changes with some disc height reduction minimally present and mild disc signal loss at L1-2 through L4-5. There is some increased signal at the L5-S1 disc that demonstrates spondylosis anteriorly. Can you please tell me what this means
