big toe

The bottom of my big toe has been hurting me really bad kind of near the joint.
I thought at first that I might have gotten something in it like a splinter or a piece of metal, but I can’t find anything in it.
I’ve heard some things about sesamoiditis and I was wondering if this could be my problem.
I am a dancer and I’m always landing hard on my feet.
What are some of the symptoms of sesamoiditis and what can I do to help my toe feel better?

Your description is not specific as to location, so I can only suggest that sesamoiditis is one possibility. A podiatrist who sees dancers would be your best resource. Ask some other dancers for a referral.

My large toe on my left foot,on the right side is very tender,andif touched,it is very pain full. I have not hurt it, and I don’t have sugar. What can I do the releive This ?.
