Big toe problem

Walking down some stairs and went to trip, big toe curled under my foot, heard a noise, felt pain. Toe swelled rather quick and came up in a mild bruise.Able to push on it with certain angels without too much trouble and pain. Do you think I have fractured or is there something else I could have done?Still swollen 10 hours later.Any Advise appreciatedThanksSue

The best advice is to have this examined and x-rayed. Then you will have the answer

Both my big toenails seem to be changing the nail seems to be curving upwards, and I have a discolor to them dark spots yellow/red and the nail seems to be getting brittle on top but the nails are thicker and underneath the skin is growing out, which makes it hurt when I trim them. I’m only in my thirties.
