Can anyone give me any first hand info on bone growth stimulators?
Doctor is putting me on one after ankle fusion. Do they help?
How long before results, etc.?

Used an orthofix bone growth stimulator for jones fracture. I used it 3 hours daily for 6 weeks and it was 100% successful. I also ate the bone growth diet.

How soon were you back on your feet again? Did you take a final xray to make sure the bone was completely healed?

X-rays were taken every 3 weeks throughout the recovery and indicated complete recovery.Injury occurred in October and I was off crutches into a graduated walking cast 8 weeks later. It took a little longer as there was a week after injury before I had surgery putting in wire and pin. Break was nasty.
