bracing a pulled tendon

About a week ago in a soccer game I sprained my ankle and tore the lateral tendon in it. For my high school soccer team season is fast approaching(as in next week) I am choosing to forego our first game in hopes of not reinjuring my still recovering ankle in the future. Last year I also hurt the lateral tendon. looking forward to this year I hope to avoid any further injury to this “problem” ankle. What type and kind of brace do you feel would be the most appropriate for my severe injury while I run and continue to play soccer?

At first, my pain was in the inner portion of the right calf. It has since moved to the back of the muscle. Lifting onto my toes is difficult.
