Broken Ankle

Dear sir, My husband broke his ankle, he slipped on wet garage floor,,,,,he has diabeties,,,,,,,it has been 2 weeks and 3 days since he broke his ankle ,,,,he is back to work now and has been working for 3 days,,,,just working on computer at work,not tooo much walking (I hope) ,last night his toes,,or middle toe is getting purple again,,,,all his toes were purple at first it went away now that he is at work for 3 days ,,,,,,,could it be he was on it toooo much?,,,,,,Should we go back to doctors to check?,
