Broken big toe – 2 weeks & no sign of regeneration

I’m wearing an Integrity Fracture Walker to immobilize my foot. In addition I’m minimizing my movements as much as possible while still going to work. I’m not driving and only take the walker off to bathe. Still there has been no improvement in the past 2 weeks. I had a complete physical exam six months ago and nothing was found to be wrong with me beyond an elevated cholesterol level.
What can I do to help my body regenerate bone and heal the fracture?

Dan, it sounds like you are doing all the right things. You just need to be patient. It takes six or eight weeks (minimal) for a broken bone to be healed. Over the next several weeks you should notice improvement.
