I hurt my pinky by a large pvc pipe landing on it. I can move it, but it’s very painful. Do I need to have it looked at by a doctor. It’s purple and seems to be swelling more. This happened over 2 hours ago.
what if the pinky isn’t in a splint and allowed to heal with movement, what are the consequences? we didn’t find out it was broken until three weeks later and had already been moving with pain of course.

And it was getting better and then I hit it at basketball practice and now it is killing me again. when I first did it it was very swollen and red. then I played in the game with it taped up and broke a blood vessel. a month later now the inside bone sticks out slitly at a curve and I am unsure if I broke it or if it is just a common sprain. can you please help me by finding clues within my symptoms?

My pinky finger is currently in a cast. Make sure you do whatever it takes to get it fixed. If not, it may not bend right and will effect your grip.
