Broken Toe Looks Weird

(4 discussions)

I broke my left pinkie toe 2 1/2 weeks ago, went to the hospital and they x-rayed it.
The toe was bent over sideways and flopping around.
Anyway, it feels better now, is still a little painful, but what concerns me is it still sticks out away from my foot a little and I can’t bend it or the toe next to it.
Is this normal???

What you are describing sounds like more than Plantar Fasciitis. I would recommend you be examined. An MRI might be a good place to start and surgery might be a consideration.

I have the same problem . the plantars is so bad now I can barey stand to walk and I have been going to therapy got the shots, used the night splint and all tht good stuff. doctors act like it is not that big a deal and it is really starting to depress me. I know I need surgery on it but they are relucant to do it. why do they do this?//

I had planters facitis for three years. I took a prescription drug for adhd and within days my planters facits was history. I think after awhile the problem is all inflammation. Yes I did all the stretches and expensive inserts. Terry Bailey e-mail me if it helps you. tbailey@access-4-free
