Bulging disc and pinched nerve…

I went to the chiropractor yesterday and had x-rays taken. The findings were that I have a bulging disc in my lower back along with a pinched nerve.(not sure which disc…its the lowest one on my back I believe.)Along with my spine being severly out of alignment, my neck is in poor condition as well. My chiropractor says that this can take up to 6 months treatment to correct. Do you think I should have a second opinion done? Does 6 months treatment sound extensive, or would surgery be an option?

no, 6 months is not out of the question. Surgery could be an option but save it for last. Chiropractic care will generally take correct these problems. If you want a second opinion with regard to chiropractic, see another chiropractor for that. Not an MD or other type of doctor as most do not understand how we are able to do what we do.
