    Yes, bunionectomies are a commonly performed surgical procedure. As far as when she would be recovered enough to resume dancing I can not really give you specifics since there are many different procedures depending on variables. You should write down your questions and discuss them with your doctor. If you don’t get answers you feelcomfortable with, get another opinion. Good luck
