Burning Knee

I have a severe burning sensation in my knee. I am not sure what is exactly wrong. Will an MRI show the reason for the burn. I didn’t have any injury in my knee. Before 2 months I had a swelling in the side, below my knee cap. But that subsided later.

Did you ever find relief for your burning knee problem. I am experiencing the same thing.

Hello to you: I have severe burning pain in both my knees. I have had a complete body scan,MRI’s,x-rays,every type of test that my local Dr’s have recommended.No one knows the problem or just don’t care. It started about 4 yrs ago and only gets worse, I have been treated by my Medical Dr. for Arthiritis which my Orthopedic Dr. said I DID NOT have. I have had a nerve conduction study 2 times with the results being normal. The Dr just took the easy way out & has given me Vicodin which helps some but it is the same thing day after day. I don’t ever have a day that the pain isn’t so bad that I don’t think about dying.Anybody have another solution. I am a 59 yr old white female in good health other than this constant burning. I have a severe burning sensation in both my knees. I am not sure what is exactly wrong. I had this problem since about twenty years. I used to feel the burning only when covering my knees with a blanket during sleeping. So it used to happen only in winter. Now it starts to show even in summer during the day wearing just a trowser, but burning pain is much less.

i have a burning in my knee for about 10 weeks. I think its possible the clutch in my car. any help?

My left knee has been going numb for some time. Now there is a burning sensation when I move it. I think there is some swelling, but not much if any. I can feel the skin, but under the skin is numb. Putting pressure or bending the knee does hurt now with a strong, very strong burning or tearing feeling.

I didn’t have any type of injury to my knee. when I kneel or hit my knee there is a sharp burning pain. It just hurts so much.Should I go see my doctor .
