Burning sensation at the bottom of my left foot.

Dear Dr,For the last 2 months, I am having a burning sensation at the bottom middle of my left foot. I feel as if I am standing on fire. This occurs more frequently at night than in the day.Any help to understand what it may be is most appreciated.

: Dear Dr, I have that burning sensation in the toes and sharp pains unexpectedly in the foot. I also have pain in the hip and calf of the same leg. I don’t know if they are connected. What is the cause of this. Do you need any more information? Judy

Dear Dr, For the past two months I have experienced tingling, numbness and a decrease in the ability to feel cold through my two big toes. Now it seems to be involving the ball of my feet. I went to a Pod. who suggestd that I had burnt the bottom of my feet on a beach on vacation. But that was at the beginning of Aug. THe sand was extremly hot, so I thought he was right. I also blamed the flip flops that I had been living in all summer. It started in my left foot and soon after spread to my right. Shoes worsen the condition and it seems like in the A.M. they are somewhat better. Can you Help? Thanks Sandy
