I bicycle on a regular basis and during the summer months I get burning feet and numbness in my toes during and after riding. What may be causing this sensation? What can I try to do to alleviate it?
Is there any medication that could reduce this sensation?

I have brachymetatarsia and I am mixed of Black and English desent (from the Bahamas). I met a distant cousin once who had the same thing (about 6th or so) but none of my other family members have it as far as I know and my daughter doesn’t either.
