for over 3 years now I have had pain in my leftlower buttocks I have had drugs acupucture nerve blocks cortisone and numerous other treatments nothing has helped. sitting on a soft surface makes it worsse I can tolerate a hard service. at work I sit on a book at home I sit on the floor. the doctor seems to think and is treating it as if it is weavers bottom. from what I understand of weavers bottom it hurts to sit on hard surfaces, and this is when I hurt the most. can any one help with some sort of treatment. I have run out of treatments and options..please…shelley

Hi, I have the same kind of pain. It is like a stabbing pain in the buttocks. It hurts the most when getting up from a sitting position. Sometimes it hurts a little when I walk. I also sometimes feel pain in my thigh and left calf. The pain comes and goes, but is mostly there. I cannot bend forward to touch my toes. I think it may be a disk in my back or something. Its been going on for about a month now. Please let me know what you think

That describes my pain exactly, sometimes, I am sitting down and when I get up I make some sort of movement and I get this sharp stabbing pain in my left buttock. I went for xrays, and the xray, not a doctor said he thought there was a crack or break in part of my um is it pelvis?Did anyone get a response as to what this problem is, cause Ray’s description is right on, also when I bend down to pick something up, and I stand up I sort of feel this sharp click and the pain is there, though it is not always there?
