calf mucle pain

i am a 26 year old slightly obese male and a smoker (5 years, not a compulsive one at that). I have this nagging pain in my calf. is it deep vein thrombosis. I am concluding anything on it, it has been there for the past 8 years and some times the pain is felt and some time t is not. when ever I strain my self with over walking or excessive travelling ( for more than 3 hours at strech seated and constrained in a partcular posture) the pain exagerates.could u advice and sir, will it possible to mail me back, since I suspect whether I will remember this site to come back and check up

David,Although I doubt that you have DVT, there is enough concerns that anyone would suggest for you to see a physician for a professional diagnosis. Please don’t put this off. It is impossible for anyone to give you an diagnosis w/o actually sitting down with you for a complete medical history and physical examination. See a doctor, and then let us know the diagnosis. HI I AM A MOTHER OF SIX AGE 40 MIDIAM BUILT 5’4″I HAVE SEVER PAIN IN MY RT CALF. IT IS DEEP IN THE MUSCLE OR BONE. I HAVE TAKEN CAL-MAG FOR MONTHS….IF I EXERCISE IT WORSEN, I AM AWAKE ON AND OFF ALL NITE BECAUSE OF THE PAIN. I HAVE SEEN MY FAMILY DR AND ALL HE DOES IS GIVES ME PAIN OR SLEEPING PILLS…WHAT IS YOUR ADVISE…MEDICINE OR WHAT KIND OF SPECIALIST DO I GO SEE.
