Over a year ago while running, I felt my left calf muscle “release”, like a rubber band, almost. I limped home and treated with rest and ice. It felt better, but has never healed. A physician looked at it and likened the injury to “extra calf muscles that runners have”. A sports therapist treated me earlier for ITBS and I have gone back to wearing tape just below the knee when running, which seems to help. Any suggestions, besides stopping running?
