calve pain

As I was playing tennis last night, I felt something twist and collapse in my calve. I am over 45 yrs old. Once I arrived home, I iced the area and took 2 alleve. I saw my doctor(internist) seeking some guidance and was told that base on my description and the pain and the way I was walking I torn my calve muscle. He indicated no physical activity for at least 10 days and no tennis until I am able to run without pain. I think I should have been prescribed not only the ice but at least the calve sleeve. What are your thoughts?

    What are some exercises that could make someone jump higher. I am a person that can’t jump really high and I need to beacause everyone makes fun of me. This really hurts me, and I just want to prove them wrong and jump higher then them. I would appreciate it if you would send it to me. Thank you.
