I have pain in my left thumb at the base of the nail. I have had this pain off and on for years but it does seem to be getting worse. I have a white line up the thumbnail and the nail always splits as it grows. This pain has also been radiating up my arm and into the shoulder and back area at times. Sometimes heat helps, sometimes NSAIDS and sometimes nothing helps. The pain is worse when the thumbnail is touched. I would really like to get rid of this pain for good, it’s very annoying. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Read MoreI broke my patella back in January. I continue to do physical therapy but do not feel like I am progressing like I should. What is not normal process of this injury healing. I am unable to do stairs and can not lift my leg with out assistance. I am discouraged and wonder if I will ever get back to my life. Wires and pins were placed on February 7.

Read MoreMy daugter has a fractured 5th metatarsal. The doctor put her in a walking cast, but said the plaster cast would be better. Being a 20 year old, she did not want the plaster cast. Will the walking cast heal the bone? SHould she have gone to the plaster cast? Thank you
