Cervicalspondilitis–pain in left forearm

(2 discussions)

I am suffering from spondilitis since 12 years.whenever pain is there traction ( 3kgs) gives relief for a short duration.
I get this shooting pain in the forearm periodically every year during April-may – June ( summer season ) my question is why it comes every year during that period.? What is the cause? Any other remedy to rid of this shooting pain I am 69 years old and also a diabetic.
Thanking you Indira

It’s ironic that I found this article the same day I was looking up my pain. Two days ago my right hand was so tender that I couldn’t even grasp the top of my water bottle to twist it open. I could not do my hair. I couldn’t drive. I wore a brace that I’ve had for a few years, because it’s not the first time that’s happened. Beginning on that day also, periodically throughout the day I have intense sessions of shooting pain in my left forearm. The pain makes me aggressively rub the area with my fingers on my right hand. It doesn’t help the pain–just a natural reaction. The sessions seem to last 15 to 30 minutes, about 6 times a day. This is day 3. Anybody follow me?
