Children’s feet and hardwood floors
We have nice oak floors in our new home and I’ve started noticing that my feet ache by the end of the day because we generally go barefoot to protect finish and keep the place clean. Because of the tired feet, I bought a pair of “inside” Birkenstocks, which helps a lot. But I also have a young child–eighteen months–who’s running around barefoot. Am I risking future foot problems for him if he spends much of his day on the hard surface w/o shoes?

Hi, I have corns on both feet, I dread the summer months because I can’t wear sandles. The corns are under (Embedded) the skin. I consulted a Podiatrist once who told me that I would have to break the bones in my toes to remove them. I would like to know if this is something that’s done in a operating room or can this be done in a doctors office with local anesthesia. And if breaking the toes to straighten them ot the only option.
