Chronic-24/7 dizziness – adj the C1

Hello – I have had this 24/7 dizziness for 6 months now — (have had it in periodic episodes for over 28 years). FINALLY I have found a chiropractor here that requested xrays and found that my neck bends the opposite of normal due to whiplash (30 yrs ago) and also my C1 is TERRIBLY out of whack! He says absolutely this could be the bulk of the reason for my dizziness! He says improvement may take some time. QUESTION – Dizzy has been “stirred-up” more since beginning these treatments 10 days ago.
He believes, and so does my Naturopath Physician, that this is normal — just looking for another opinion to ease my mind and know I’m on the road to recovery! (Even tho it seems worse than ever right now) Thank you!

Hi again — I have another question in relation to my first post. How long do you think it could take for the healing process since you said …”It is very common to experience an increase in your symptoms as you begin correcting the problem”. My chiropractor is not surprised that I still have the dizziness as he says that 3-4 weeks (how long I’ve been being treated) is NOT a long time even tho it seems like it to me since I’m the one experiencing it. Just curious and also, do you think Reike treatments would be of any help??? Thank you for your time.
