clawing following calcaneus fracture
What is the generally accepted surgical procedure to relieve clawing following a shattered calcaneus, multiple tarsal fx and multiple meta-tarsal fx’s. Is it necessary to cut the tendon after re-sectioning the joint?

I really would need to see the foot and some x-rays to give an opinion. It is possible that fusing many of these joints would be indicated, which ones, I am not sure. If you are the one with this problem, I suggest you get several opinions from qualified surgeons.
