Compartment Syndrome Pressure Testing?????
Hi can anyone give me some information on the pressure test i.e how long does it take? Is it painful? I am having it done as soon as I recieve my appointment hopefully within the next couple of weeks!
I am a bit worried about this as I know it involves a needle!! How big is the needle?
Please anyone with any info please reply back to me!

Yes, it is somewhat involved. Yes, it is a big needle. Yes. I’m sure you will get plenty of local anesthesia. No. there is nothing to worry about if you trust your doc. Go and have the test done. If you have a compartment syndrome, you want to know and you want to have data so that the docs can decide if it’s severe enough to require release.
