compression fracture of the lumbar vertebrae

i have a compression fracture in one of my lumbar vertebrae. I have been in a tlso brace for almost one month. I was hoping I could find a less cumbersome brace that would still keep my fracture from getting worse. could you recommend one?

I have a fracture of the L-2 lumbar and am now in a TLSo brace. I have heard of an injection of something similar to super gle that makes recovery very short. What do you know of the success and dangers of it. Thsnk you

My mother has the above fracture and is in terrible pain. (She is in her eighties!) She was given a brace which seemed to make it worse. The only treatment she has just now is bed rest and pain killers. She feels she could bear the awful pain if she only knew how long it will go on. Nobody seems to give her a straight answer. I’m living in another country and cannot help.Is there anyone who has an opinion on this.
