Continual injuries

(2 discussions)

I am nearly 40, female and have thyroid disease which predisposes to soft tissue injury. Over the past year I have been almost continually injured with leg injuries:
achilles tendonitis (left leg)
ham string strain (left leg)
pectineus strain (right)
calf strain (now – left)
Any advice for me please?

Have you examined any biomechnical abnormalities that may be predisposing you to injury? If you have overpronation (fallen arches) in your feet this can predispose to lower limb injuries
