My second toes on each foot are crooked. Can any procedure be done to correct this? If so, how much would this cost? Is there a name for this condition? Thank you. Any info would be appreciated.
I had my ankle fusion July 17. I have found that I get thrown off balance guite easily when walking on uneven ground. I have had to watch how I walk in peoples yards. I even had to watch how I walk down steps. It has been a little over a year and I still have to watch where I walk and how much I walk. If I walk too much, it hurts a great deal and swells up. My doctor has told me that my ankle has healed really well and he will take the screws out during my break between semesters from college classes in December. Just remember to take it slow at first and follow your doctor’s orders. It will get easier as time goes on.
