C/s peroneus i think? help plz
my partner went 2 a+e with severe swelling and pain in his leg following a game of football. he was diagnosed with i think peroneus syndrome and there was talk of rushing him 2 theatre that night to open both sides of his leg to release pressure which was to be left open for 2 days. if the r.i.c.e method didnt work. after 2 nights in hospital and quite a bit of morphine later he has been released and told can play contact sports in 6-8wks. but his foot is still numb and he loses balance with it.is this normal?
