For the last week I have had a pain in my buttocks, extending down throuth the front of my leg. I do heavy lifting at work, could I have done something to my cyatic nerve?

Since my pregnancy, I have had a cyatic nerve problem. My question is, can the cyatic nerve also affect your feet? I have had a lot of pain and numbness in my feet and think it is related to cyatic.Please advise.
