dropped something on my foot
a week ago I dropped something on my foot and it swelled and bruised my toes, I went to dr. but they just felt it and said because it didn’t hurt when she touched the bones it was alright.. It is still swelled. I can walk on it but it does hurt, should the swelling last this long??
should I have it x-rayed?

A soft tissue injury will not show up on x-ray. If you are still concerned though, you can discuss this with the doctor.
