Elbow

When I was in the 2nd grade I fell off of a monkey bars and diclocated my left elbow. I was in the hospital in traction for 8 weeks and in a cast for 9 months. My elbow has always looked a little funny since. Well now I am 45 and my elbow has started to give me some trouble. At one point it looked like it was dislocated again. It causes me such pain that it is hard to do anything. I am wondering what can be done to help. We have tried antiinflamatories, steroids, and splints. Nothing seems to work! I now am living on darvocet and ibuprofin. What is left.

You should see an orthopedic dr. with a specialty in the upper extremity and experience and maybe a fellowship with elbows. I a case like this you need expert advise because it sounds like it is getting worst.
