elbow pain/numb tingling fingertips

This past Monday I woke up to my whole left shoulder blade hurting.
The pain by Wednesday was less in my shoulder and was now in my shoulder and elbow joint(no swelling noticed), resulting in pain shooting up and down my arm when joint is in use. By Friday I can move alittle better, but certain movements or positions of the elbow joint still cause the same pain.
It is also causing the tips of my left fingers to feel numb and tingly. I have tryed the following resulting in only short term relief: Hot/Cold patch, heating pad, cold pack, Motrin, BioFreeze, soaking in a hot bath, and Soltice.
I normally sleep on my left, making sleeping very difficult.
I am looking for suggestions and type of doctor that I might go see if further home remedies don’t work.
My mother(retired nurse)said it sounds like bruchitis–my grandfather had it really bad where the elbow would swell up.
