elbows locking up and cracking

My husband is a carpenter ( lots of roofing ), he also races and rides dirtbike, the last couple of years he’s had a lot of cracking elbows, locking up and pain, any suggestions on what this could be, and any self treatments?

sounds to me that your husband may have loose bodies in the elbow that get lodged. arthroscopic surgery can help w/ that.

what it is that my elbows seem to lock up when I bend them and I get a real sharp pain, my doc don’t really want to know, so I hope you can shed some light on what is going on. Thanks yours sincerlysamantha loveridge
