extra lumbar vertabra

I was told by my Chiropractor that I was born with a 6th lumbar vertabra back in ’86, but my VA doctor doesn’t think so. This has been giving me very bad pain for a long time now. He keeps giving me mild pain meds that does not work. I have been fighting SSA for the past 5 years and to no avail have had any luck. This problem is causing me to have many problems with my whole back. From my neck to my tailbone. Does anyone have an immediate solution for me?

You could have a 6th vertebra, its not uncommon. Typically it is called a transitional segment. If you want it confirmed, tell the VA to take an x-ray.
