Extreme Heat sensation in the feet.

My mother is 68 years old, and suffers from unexplained extreme heat sensations in her right foot. Her foot is cool form the outside (if you touch the skin, the temperature is normal). Aside for diabetes, my mother is healthy.
This problem doesn’t let her sleep at night.
What could be the cause and what is the cure?

This may be diabetic neuropathy. She may need to discuss this with her diabetic doctor. THis may lead to a referral to a neurologist and/or a podiatrist.

Hi,
My name is Sharolyn Price, from JAX FL. I couldn’t believe this site when I found it. I also burn mostly in my left arm and on my back. I will be making an appoint with the doctor after the christmas holidays as well as meet with my pastor. I don’t know why I’m burning whether it’s a medical or spiritual issue I just need some answers so that I can do what need to be done. I don’t want to be slow in taking care of this problem if it’s a medical issue. Oh, it’s begining to travel to the left side of my body to the shoulders and elbow. Help
