Extreme Pain in foot, not plantar facia

(2 discussions)

I had the plantar facia cut over 10 years ago.Just recently I felt like I sprained my foot (2 weeks ago). I can’t put any pressure on it, I’m limping around the house :(The pain is knife-like and is on top of foot toward little toes, and underneat, on the outer side of arch, going into achilies (sp) tendon, with slight pulling and pain on the inside of the foot.

When I wear a slight high heel it seems to ease the pain, as compaired to a flat.

I am not sure exactly without examining your foot, but there is a possibility you have a tendon injury. You need to make an appointment with a podiatrist for further evaluation and treatment recommendations.
