foot pain
I am having pain in my right foot under the second toe at the proximal joint, in the ‘ball’ of my foot.
It is a burning pain and sometimes I can feel a knot under it.
Alot of times my toe feels as if it has a cramp in it.
Staying off of it helps but I am a nurse and staying off of it is out of the question!!!!
What could this be it started about 6 weeks ago when I stepped on a rock and it is not getting any better!!
Thanks,Theresa

This sounds like a (Morton's) neuroma. You should see a foot specialist and explore your options. It will have periods of exacerbation and remission, but it won't likely disappear. Good LuckVivian A DPM
