Foot pain. An injury?

I run 3 times a week bewteen 30 min to an hour.

Recently I have started ti develop a pain on the inside of my left foot. along the bone down to my big toe.

This only appears after 30 mintues or so of running a (and sometimes not at all).

My foot is slightly swollen, so I may ice it my it is not excruciating pain.

The strange thing is that I expect the pain to carry with me into the next day, which it rarely does and 24 hours later I can hardly feel it.

My obvious concern was a stress fracture, but I assumed that if this was the case then the injury would be with me the whole time.

Any ideas?

    [[I think I have had something simmilar. I have a very good Therapist. My problam was with my arches, You have three in your foot; 1 along the underneath of your toes (transverse arch i think), 1 along the outside of the foot and the one on the inside every1 knows about. If one these has dropped or become weak due to “over-use” then it can cause pain. Try massaging the after you run. Also maniplulate your toes and push on them from underneath with your thumb. Also Take the foot in both hands and “twict it gently from side to side. If you can try this everyday, when your in the bath is a very good time.
