Foot pain while taking a shower

I have recently been expieriencing extreme pain with a throbbing itch in both feet why showering .. After about 10 minutes or so both feet turn bright red and start to hurt.. I have to exit the shower and elevate my feet and have my wife rubb them to get relief. I have heard many different explainations from friends and family members some saying it’s a sign of heart problems..? It has made me a little concerned.. I am 37 years old, Male, 5’10”, 209 lbs. I have recently lost 22 lbs thru diet.( 6 months of proper dieting)
