Foot/Ankle Pain

(2 discussions)

I tore the tendon in my right foot last June, shortly after a cortisone shot for plantar fasciitis.
I asked my podiatrist about it and was told that I basically “did my own foot surgery”, and that the pain should subside in 6 to 8 weeks.
It has been 7 months and I still have a lot of pain in that foot, which has now spread to my ankle, shin and calf.
I also recently started a new job in which I have to be on my feet for extended periods of time.
Any ideas where the persistent pain might be coming from???

No, since I can examine you. I would suggest a MRI for further information.
