Former cast wearers — PLEASE READ!

I have advanced PT tendonosis and have been casted in a short leg cast. I’ve never worn a cast before and obviously am not enjoying it much but am trying my best to adjust. Is it normal to experience muscle twitches and cramps while you get used to the cast? The pain in my PT tendon is definitely subsiding, but my calf muscles are twitching/cramping.

Thanks for your advice/insight.
