fracture
Hi, I was just wondering if I could ask a question. This past weekend, I fractured the 5th metasarsal in my foot. (this is actually the 2nd time I have done this). Basically, I was just wondering if someone could tell me something that I could do (preferably cardio wise) with this fracture. Not being able to work out is going to kill me, so I was wondering if someone could give me some ideas. Thanks (oh yea, I am in a boot not a cast)

Are you allowed to swim? Also, you know those exercises bikes with arms and pedals? Just use the arm part. Or you can do a row maching with just putting the good foot on the machine for stability. You can also do a regular weight workout with light weights and high reps keeping your heart rate up for 15-20 minutes.
