fracture 5th metatarsal

my 8 yr old daughter fx’d her 5th metatarsal 4wks agoshe was in a cast x 4wks non weight bearing. The cast was removed, but she can’t seem to walk normal. I don’t know it she’s afraid to re-injure it or that it hurts. Can you please tell me if she needs P.T. or is there an exercise I can help her with? What is the usual outcome? Do people resume to their normal walking? Please advise me.
